Happy Tax Day..

Hope everyone's got their taxes in.. Wish I could have made it downtown for the tea party today but school and family commitments kept me too busy. I hope the Government was watching to see what the people think about their lavish spending and about porkulus. Also.. this is random, but I think it's time we allow firearms on these ships to ward off these Somalian pirates who have been terrorizing the oceans for the past 6 months or so.

Why I decided to go into teaching.

People have often asked me why I decided to go into teaching as a profession. I've known for sometime that this is what I want to do with my life. Back in 2006, I was a teen leader at 4H camp. I took this homesick little girl under my wing and even gave her one of my shirts after the water olympics (we all were soaked). She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "I want to be like you when I grow up." That statement made such a profound impact on me, I probably will remember that for the rest of my life. Since then, I've been back twice to camp, and that little girl has blossomed into a confident young lady and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for her. I want to be a teacher to make a difference.. plain and simple.

Left-wing Media=Satan

Ok..Satan may be a tad Harsh..

But who among us can look at this man here and not feel just a tad uneasy?  For those of you who don't know who he is, he is Keith Olbermann; Former sports anchor for ESPN and currently MSNBC "commentator" and I use that term very loosely. Mr Olbermann has been with MSNBC for sometime now, hosting his own program nightly. K.O is very biased towards the left and even told President Bush to shut the Hell up on National tv. Unlike his Fox News rival, Bill O'Reilly, Olbermann never brings on conservative guests, choosing instead to bring on likeminded guests to further poison the minds of millions. He also hosts a daily segment entitled "The World's worst person." He has repeatedly named George Bush and Bill O'reilly among other prominent right-leaning personnel to this dubious honor. This moron spent 5 minutes the other night just going on a tangent about Bill O'Reilly that quite frankly was uncalled for instead of doing what he was hired for... ya know.... reporting news.

Olbermann is just an example of how biased the media really is.  Liberals love to call Fox News, Faux news, however from what I have seen, MSNBC and to an extent CNN are far more biased than Fox is. The media played a major role in Barack Obama's election last year and continue to have a slobbering love affair with the 44th President of the United States. All the media has done is to help to feed the already inflated ego of Mr. Obama, who hasn't done much to stop our inflating unemployment rate.

I could go on for hours on this, but I have an early morning tomorrow with school, and I have a conference in Nashville this weekend. Take Care and God bless.

The beginning.

What's up guys? Decided to create my own blog to discuss my thoughts on the situations facing us as Americans as well as to reflect on my own life. Props to Bryan Matheny, my former coach, for inspiring me to do this with his own blog (http://aconservativesconscience.blogspot.com/). It's late now, I have to get up to go to School in the morning, but I'm gonna try and post a blog tomorrow about the Left Media.. especially Mr. Sportsbroadcaster turned Liberal loudmouth, K.O himself, Keith Olbermann.
